AI-based voice control for ERP!

The kick-off workshop for our joint research project with the renowned research institute RISC in Hagenberg took place at the beginning of November 2024. The aim of the project is to integrate modern artificial intelligence to develop an innovative voice control system for our Zentro solution.

What is it about?

The project, which will be carried out in cooperation with the research organisation RISC, aims to develop an innovative AI-based voice control component for an ERP system. The component is intended to significantly improve the use of ERP systems by making them more efficient, user-friendly and flexible. In particular, we want to create added value for mobile users in manufacturing companies or in the project business and integrate voice control technology specifically into the context of ERP systems.

In recent years, the market for artificial intelligence in the field of enterprise resource planning (ERP) has developed steadily, but the spread has been slower than initially expected. There is a lack of solutions that can offer companies a balanced cost-benefit ratio for the integration of AI into their processes.

What's new

Context-based controls are often only offered as separate tools such as chatbots. However, this project aims to integrate voice control into the familiar user interface by intelligently assigning simple, direct actions.

Our AI-based voice assistance for ERP is designed to enable users of ERP systems to start processes without time-consuming text input. This solution should not only understand simple commands, but also complex instructions.

The technical advantages for the target groups, which include employees in production, sales and management, include efficient production control, user-free operation, rapid error correction through spoken instructions, mobile voice control and quality control using voice feedback, as well as many other aspects.
