Zentro now also in combination with MariaDB
Similar to Linux, MariaDB is a free software that is not backed by a corporation like Microsoft or Oracle. As the provider of the fastest growing open source database, MariaDB is backed by a large, motivated community that actively works with the software and on its further development.
The EU has also recognized the opportunities of such an open source technology and therefore the Investment Bank (EIB) supports the further growth and database innovations of MariaDB with 25 million euros.
